DAY 2 Tokyo / Asakusa District
Enjoy a fully guided Tokyo sightseeing for today by private van. Visit the Asakusa district in the morning, one of the most iconic places in the capital. Complete the first visit to a Buddhist temple in Japan at Sensoji Temple and check out the impressive Nakamise shopping street. Pick an activity for the evening from our recommendation: Ueno Zoo, Ameyoko market, National Museum of Western Art or wherever you wish. (fully guided)

DAY 3 Tokyo / Tsukiji Market, Ginza
Continue the guided exploration of Tokyo with Tsukiji Market, the world’s largest fish market, where more than 2,000 tons of seafood are handled each day. Move on to Ginza, the city’s most upscale district featuring high-profile cloth stores, art galleries, restaurants, night clubs, and cafes. (fully guided)

DAY 4 Kanazawa / Higashi Chaya District, Kenrokuen garden

Upon arrival, start a guided sightseeing tour to visit Kenrokuen Garden, designated as one of three beautiful gardens in Japan, and Higashi Chaya district lined with preserved wooden architectures. DAY 5 Shirakawago & Yamanaka Onsen / Traditional Ryokan Stay
Take 1.5 hrs drive to the village of Shirakawa-go and Gokayama located in a deep mountainous area of Gifu Prefecture. The area preserves a rural townscape of Japan and is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight stay at a ryokan, Japanese traditional inn, in the Yamanaka Onsen district, where you get to bathe in a natural hot spring. (fully guided)

DAY 6 Kyoto / Transfer & sightseeing in Kyoto

DAY 7 Kyoto / Golden Temple, Fushimi Shrine, Kiyomizudera Temple

For first-timers, it’s highly recommended to see a golden pavilion in Kinkakuji Temple, countless red shrine gates in Fushimi Inari Shrine, a 13m high wooden stage in Kiyomizudera Temple, lavish interiors in Nijo Castle, and ever green bamboo forest in the Arashiyama district during your stay in the old capital of Japan. DAY 9 Nara / Kasuga Shrine, Todaiji Temple, Nara Park
Take 1 hour drive south from Kyoto and you’ll reach Nara. It had been briefly an ancient capital of Japan from 710 prior to the long reign of Kyoto. Nevertheless, the historical heritages of what had been the political and cultural center of the country have remained clearly to be seen as well as good old Japanese townscape. Visit Todaiji Temple, Nara Park, Kofukuji Temple, and Kasuga Taisha Shrine. (fully guided)

DAY 10 Hiroshima / Atomic Bomb Memorial Park, Miyajima, Itsukushima Shrine
Transfer from Kyoto to Hiroshima by bullet train. After arriving at Hiroshima station, visit Atomic Bomb Memorial Park. Upon request you can visit Memorial Museum located in the park, too. After lunch, we are going to take you to Miyajima Island where another world heritage site, Itsukushima Shrine, is situated. (fully guided)

For starters, the famous Osaka Castle gives you a nice walk around the building. The city has endless options to shop from boutiques, department stores to local stores. (fully guided)
