2.1st stop 5:00~5:30 (own expense)
At a Japanese style local pub, you’ll find countless food options you have no idea of what. Here with the guide offering recommendation, try something new!

3.2nd stop 5:45~6:30 (own expense)
How about yakitori chicken skewers, for next? They are the folk’s favorite to go with a crisp taste of draft beer. You’ll be surprised to know how many different parts of a chicken is on a menu.

4. Gion walking 6:45~7:00
Gion is arguably the most famous maiko district in Japan with wooden architectures beautifully preserved. Walk through the area en route to our last stop hoping to catch an glimpse of a maiko.

4. 3rd stop 7:00~8:00 (Inclusive)
A restaurant at the heart of Gion is our last stop. A carefully selected food plate and a drink of your choice is served here. Take a seat at a counter where you can watch live cooking.

How to get to the meeting spot
Take any city bus departing from A2 terminal at Kyoto Station and get off at Shijo Kawaramachi. The store is located at the northeast corner of the Shijo Kawaramachi intersection.

Please make sure to read the information below as they are all important to know.

  1. Which izakaya we go for the first and the second stop are not always the same.
  2. Please bring some cash with you, not a credit card, as you are supposed to pay for what you order except at the last stop. Expected budget per person for each place is between 1,000 ~ 2,500 yen.
  3. Izakaya in Japan commonly serve you a small dish of around 300 yen as a cover charge upon your entrance.
  4. You may be required to order at least one drink and one food menu at each stop. Non alcohol drink is always available.
  5. Feel free to contact us in advance if you have a particular food you wish to try as well as to avoid.
  6. Local izakaya tend not to have a non-smoking zone. Please contact us if you absolutely need a non-smoking space while dining.
  7. Once the tour commences, the reservation for the last stop cannot be changeable.
